People listen up.
There is a new suggestion that we play laserquest as part of the outing on thursday. In case you don't know what laserquest is,I'll fill you in:
Laserquest:A game played in a labyrinth-like room where the aim is to shoot the opposing team members to score points.
How to play:
1)You will wear a vest with lighted sensors located on the front, back, both shoulders as well as the gun that is attached to the vest. You must hit these sensors to score points.Likewise, the opposing team will do the same to you.
2)When you are shot by the enemy, you will be "immobilized",that is,your vest will emit an electronic sound and vibrate, then shut down for 5 seconds.During this time, you are allowed to move to get away from the opposing team, but you will not be able to shoot them as your gun will also shut down, and neither will the opposing team score any points if they continue shooting you. After 5 seconds your vest and gun will light up again and you may resume the game.
3)Points are calculated as shown:
Hitting any sensor will score 10 points.
Getting hit at the front will cost you 5 points.
Can't really remember the rest tho,but it would not affect your game much.Just remember that you will lose the most points when hit at the the front.
4)Running and jumping is not allowed throughout the game. The guys there have cctv cameras placed in the room so that they can penalise you when they see you breaking any rules. You will know that you were penalised if you see your vest and gun shut down for no apparent reason and see a flashing reminder displayed on the gun.
Other things that are not allowed include
.Covering of sensors.
.Touching other players.
Things to note:
.The room is dark, but not too dark:it's bright enough for people with night blindness.
.The lighting in the room will cause cause white or light-coloured clothing articles to glow.Don't say I didn't warn you.
.Techno music will be played throughout the game session. Not sure how this will be of any use to you people though.
.Game can be played with up to 3 teams. Not sure about the maximum capacity, but I think 20 people can fit in there.
.3.50 per game(10 mins)I suggest you guys play 20 mins cos 10 mins will be too short.another way to cut cost could be to book it for 2 hours for 200 plus and play as many games as you guys want.only profitable if you come en masse though.

This is Ler Yang.Ciao.
